We booked a trip to Japan last February for the end of October. A fantastic country and a magical experience, but our experience with 333 was not always positive. They are easily accessible and always answer you politely, but they do not think ahead and are not always sharp. For example, one of the names on our JR train passes was misspelled and we had requested separate beds when booking, but we slept in (small) double beds the entire trip. Our travel agent indicated that this would be correct from the second hotel, but this turned out not to be the case. The JR train pass was replaced neatly and on time, but they send important documents like these without a tracking code by regular letter post - a few fun 333 straps for your suitcase can be done with a letterbox parcel. Local train connections in our travel documents were outdated and sometimes illogical, so it is better to check your connections yourself. The reception at the airport was well organised, we were politely met by someone who helped us activate our train passes. Furthermore, according to 333, it is all busy, busy, busy in Japan - everything is fully booked according to our travel agent and everything is therefore delayed: it makes no difference if you book in February for October. Perhaps their hotel stock is somewhat limited, because there was still plenty to book in Japan itself: we skipped a night in Hakone and booked an extra night in Kyoto for a reasonable price with Klook: save yourself the trouble of booking with 333 and arrange everything just by yourself. The JR train pass can also be purchased at a favorable rate and can be paid via iDeal (check which Dutch banks are affiliated) - as long as you book on time. 333 books through an 'intermediary', a Japan specialist, but your booking ultimately turns out to have been made via Expedia - and you can arrange this yourself. In short, do you want to do well/better and not be faced with any surprises? Then do it yourself. 333 was for us once but not again.

We are currently staying in Costa Rica. We booked this superior individual tour with 333travel based on their expertise! This was an illusion! Of all the hotels we have stayed in so far, 3 were fantastic. The other hotels are dramatic!!! From CONSTRUCTION SITE to CONSTRUCTION BUILDING and I am not exaggerating. Furthermore, we had to wait for hours for people during transfers and during one transfer they had also confused the time zones of Costa Rica and Panama, resulting in us standing alone at the border 2 hours early without a transfer! Even though I have tried every day to get compensation and other accommodations, 333travel refuses to help us in any way! This organization is only after one thing! Your wallet! Our advice is don't book here!! For a long journey, look for a real specialist who will not leave you out in the cold!
